Assignment for March 25th, to March 29th

ASSIGNMENTS FOR MARCH 25TH THROUGH MARCH 29th

English IV AP    1st, 8th, and 9th periods  

Monday and Tuesday

Students will receive AP Literature vocabulary. They will work on a 57 question AP vocabulary test. They can use the Ap literature vocabulary on this assignment.

Tuesday

Students will work on Grendel writing activity, if they’re done with vocabulary review

English IV Regular   2nd Period  

Monday and Tuesday

Students will read The Lottery short story and answer questions at the end

Wednesday

Students will also work on Grendel writing activity

Journalism 3rd Period

Monday and Tuesday

Work on either new blog or more scholarships

They’re on the blog

College Preparedness 6th Period

Monday and Tuesday

Continue working on research

Using chrome books and the internet, have students research and write about the following:

Monday-Wednesday:Students will begin writing a research paper over why high schools are failing to prepare students for college level writing. They will need to find at least three academic sources using their chrome books. They will need to find several reasons why students are not prepared for university level writing and they will need to find solutions in academic article regarding what students can do to be prepared for college level writing.
