Scenario 5

Create propaganda (3 posters, one commercial, and one newsletter) on behalf of the pigs in Animal Farm, in which, using crows, the pigs attempt to spread news of their “successful” rebellion to the rest of the animals in neighboring farms. Although life for the animals in Animal Farm, after the rebellion, is not exactly ideal in all areas, they would still like for farmers and animals outside animal farm to believe their rebellion was a smashing success. Therefore, the propaganda being sent out will try to claim that life for the animals is better in all areas. It will proclaim that all animals are equal, it will proclaim that the animals are free and are their own masters, it will proclaim that no more whips and cruelty abound in Animal Farm… and obviously more things of this nature.

Fellow animals,

On behalf of all free animals in Animal Farm, we would like to update you all on what life is like for us animals on our side of the fence. Fellow creatures, we write to you in the hopes you all will one day join us as fellow comrades in arms… First, friends, we wish to inform you of FACTS. FACTS estranged friends! Not the lies your human masters wish you to believe. The time has come for you all to rip chains, leashes and whips from your backs. The time has come for you all to cease living at the whims and mercy of your cruel oppressors! The state of our farm as well as the state of our current lives is testament of the fact that dreams CAN be made into reality and that our lives can improve and endure without human masters! Don’t believe the enemies’ lies, enslaved brothers. We are not eating less, friends… We are eating more! Of course, those who walk on two feet would like you to believe we are dying of hunger. Those who walk on two feet will want you to believe our rebellion is a disaster… but that is not the case future comrades!  We are not working more, enslaved brothers… we are working LESS! ­­Those who walk on two legs will have you believe we are not capable of organizing, planning, and dictating our own lives… but if you had the chance to visit our farm and see how we are living, you would simply not believe your eyes. You wouldn’t want to ever leave. We are living proof, future comrades, that life doesn’t have to be the way it’s always been, just because it has always been that way.

Wouldn’t you like to be whipped less? Wouldn’t you like to eat more and not just eat the scraps they through your way? Wouldn’t you like to bleh bleh bleh… :P
