Diary of a Salem Villager Journal Project

The Salem Witchcraft trials provides us with examples about
how it is easy to become carried away by emotion and jealousies and how
important it is to have fair trials with impartial judges and juries. With this
project, you will have an opportunity to examine these and other issues from
the perspective of one of the people who experienced it.
You will write an 8 page journal entries (typed) from the perspective of
either someone who was accused of being a witch or someone who accused others
of being a witch during the Salem Witchcraft trials. You can also write from the perspective of just a regular villager.
The following are suggestions to get you started:

arrested.
1) Who first accused you?
2) Why do they think you are a
witch?
3) How does it feel? What are
you thinking?
4) How are people treating
you?
